Experience That Shapes Trees
Arbor Pro is a professional company providing expert tree and greenery care services in urban environments.I am Donatas Ruzgas — founder and head arborist of Arbor Pro, with over 12 years of hands-on experience in the field.
My introduction to arboriculture began in 2012 when a friend’s father invited me to try working with trees. Having spent much of my childhood immersed in nature, I quickly discovered a deep connection to this field. Arborist work — especially at the beginner level — comes with many challenges and risks, which led me to invest significant time in learning the specifics of tree care.
Training and Development
In 2013, I participated in arboriculture training led by Latvian professionals, where I gained valuable knowledge about equipment use, safety protocols, and tree physiology. Since 2014, I’ve been volunteering at European Tree Climbing Championships, and since 2016, I’ve been actively competing in Baltic championships — experiences that allow me to continuously grow and exchange knowledge with fellow arborists.
After completing my arboriculture studies, I worked in Lithuania for two years before deciding to continue my professional journey in the United Kingdom. After three weeks of job searching, I joined one of the UK’s largest tree care companies, serving London boroughs. There, I adhered to strict safety standards, worked closely with tree officers, and collaboratively made decisions about urban tree care.

Returning to Lithuania
and Founding Arbor Pro
After five successful years in London, I decided to return to Lithuania and establish Arbor Pro. Today, I’m also a proud member of the Lithuanian Arborists Association. I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with colleagues and clients, offering professional tree care services that contribute to the health and beauty of green spaces in urban environments. I’m always ready to take on new challenges and ensure that every tree receives the attention and care it needs to thrive in the city.
